ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Belgian inaugural medal from 1903. The front reads STAD ST. NICOLAAS (City of St. Nicholas) and the reverse reads Inhuldiging van Het Nieuw Postkantoor (Inauguration of the new Post Offices) 1903.

VINTAGE: Circa 1903.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 1-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension loop.

MARKINGS: 1903

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. The item will not be sold until identified. LX7/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows some light wear and tarnish and has a small spot of oxidation on reverse.
