ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful professionally framed poster by Karl Sigrist for the last German bund drive of World War I (Zeichnet Kriegsanleihe). The poster is graphically striking and shows the dark head of an eagle just above a white dove outlined in blue flying over the countryside. The poster reads Zeichnet Kriegsanleihe (Zeichnet war loan).

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 30-1/8" in height and 24-1/4" in width and _" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Poster with glass and wood frame, paper backing, wire.

ATTACHMENT: Wire.

MARKINGS: K. SIGRIST signature and marks at the bottom (please see photos); framer tag on reverse.
