This is a beautifully finished Chinese-made shoulder patch worn by a P-38 fighter pilot in the China-Burma-India theatre. The patch is a red and white striped shield bearing a white sun and star against a field of blue.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-9/16" height and 2-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Red, white and blue multi-piece leather patch embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
