This is a beautifully detailed and heavy late 1930s Polish Air Force Air pilot badge in silver-plated tombak. Surprisingly, the badge is not maker marked. The badge is a great eagle flying with a wreath painted green for combat in his beak.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 2-1/2" in width; chain drop: 2".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated tombak, painted details, brass screwback.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with backing, chain with hook hanger.
MARKINGS:None.
