Beautiful WWII USN Submariner's Chained Sterling Sweetheart Pin by Balfour

This is a beautiful World War II United States Navy submariner's sweetheart pin by Balfour. The pin is in sterling silver and is two pins joined by a chain: one pin is an enameled bar reading USN and the other is a miniature dolphins.

Circa World War II.

Dolphins: approximately 3/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width; bar: approximately 5/16" in height and 11/16" in width; chain is about 1-3/4" in length.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Horizontal pins with drop-in locking swivel catches; chain.
