This is a beautiful World War II Nazi Army close combat clasp by JFS in bronzed zinc. The clasp is a festoon of oak leaves flanking two crossed weapons with an eagle and swastika at its top.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 3-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronzed zinc.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style tapered pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:F.E.C. W.E. PEEKHAUS BERLIN and JFS maker's mark.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The clasp has light wear and a handsome patina, with only some very small spots of oxidation.
