Beautiful WWII Collins Carlson's Raiders USMC Type Combat Knife

This is a beautiful World War II "Carlson's Raiders" United States Marine Corps type combat knife by Collins & Company. "Carlson's Raiders" was the familiar name of the 2nd Raider Battalion, a group that landed on the Pacific island of Butaritari (former home of Louis Robert Stevenson) in August 194The knife appears to have been used in combat.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 14-1/4" in length and 4-3/8" in width (at widest part of handle).

Steel, nickel-plated steel, resin handle, leather sheath.
