Beautiful WWI Prussian Aviation Observer Badge in 800 Silver by Juncker with Award Document

This is a beautiful World War I Prussian aviation observer badge in 800 silver by C. E. Juncker of Berlin attributed to Lt. der Reserve Kortmann, and is accompanied by color copies of two Kortmann's award documents. The badge has a crown at top and the body is wreathed with a black and white four-square at center bordered by red.

Circa World War I.

2-13/16" height and 1-13/16" width; copies are both 8-1/2" x 11".

800 silver with red, white and black enameling; paper.

Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.

8 (Excellent): Enamel is fantastically colored and badge has some small spots of tarnish with only some light abrasions; copies have creases from being folded in fourths.
