ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWI Prussian Observer badge. Unmarked, but made by Juncker in silver-plated Tomback. Badge depicts the enameled flag of the German tactical symbol for an Army Corps surrounded by oak leaves on one side and laurel leaves on the other joined together at the bottom in a bow, atop is a Prussian crown. The original center of this example (in silver-plated and enameled brass) appears to have come off and been reattached by a jeweler with solder, well repaired.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass, enamel, silver-plated Tomback

ATTACHMENT: Vertical "T" style pin with "C" type catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Prussian militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRVEEJX16 TRCJJX16 LAAIEX12/16 SAAIEX06/17 

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, original center reattached and repaired by jeweler with solder, much of the plating and enameled details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
