ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful World War I German camouflage helmet in steel, or "stahlhelm". The helmet is a Model 1916 and is painted in 1918 camouflage. There is a maker mark for F.C. Bellinger of Fulda near the secured end of the chinstrap, as well as the shell measurement (62).

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Shell measurement = 62 .

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted steel, leather, muslin.

ATTACHMENT: Cloth ties.

MARKINGS: BF 62, the mark of F. C. Bellinger, and shell size.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEJX12 LACJJX6/12 SAJEJX6/12

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The helmet has some light to moderate abrasions and the liner is delicate.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
