Beautiful WWI German Camouflage Steel Helmet (Stahlhelm) Model 1916

This is a beautiful World War I German camouflage helmet in steel, or "stahlhelm". The helmet is a Model 1916 and is painted in 1918 camouflage. There is a maker mark for F.C. Bellinger of Fulda near the secured end of the chinstrap, as well as the shell measurement (62).

Painted steel, leather, muslin.

Cloth ties.

BF 62, the mark of F. C. Bellinger, and shell size.

6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The helmet has some light to moderate abrasions and the liner is delicate.
