This is a beautiful World War I American Red Cross nurse's ditty bag in silk-lined linen. There is a nice red cross embroidered in silk on either side. The bucket-shaped bag is flat and slips easily over the arm for carrying.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 9-3/4" in width and 12-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk-lined linen, silk embroidery.
ATTACHMENT:Handle.
