This is a beautiful railroad engineer shaving mug showing a painted railway scene and the engineer's name: J. C. Stahl. The lip of the mug, handle and frame of the scene are detailed in gilt paint.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s-1890s.
SIZE:3-7/8" height and 3-3/4" diameter at base.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted ceramic.
ATTACHMENT:Mug handle.
