Beautiful Vintage 1880s-1890s Railroad Engineer Shaving Mug

This is a beautiful railroad engineer shaving mug showing a painted railway scene and the engineer's name: J. C. Stahl. The lip of the mug, handle and frame of the scene are detailed in gilt paint.

Circa 1880s-1890s.

3-7/8" height and 3-3/4" diameter at base.

Painted ceramic.
