This is a beautiful "unofficial" badge in hand-chased silver for Clan MacLellan of Scotland. The badge is form the Victorian Era and reads FRANGO (to break down) around its outer loop.
VINTAGE:Circa 1837-1901.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Hand-chased silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
