Beautiful, Spanish Ð American War Veterans Medal Type 3 (1910-1939), numbered Ô14097' on reverse. The medal is a wreathed eagle and crest at the top of a United States flag ribbon, with each armed force's insignia: a crossed saber, musket, cannon and anchor and reads ÔUNITED'. From the ribbon a United Spanish War Veteran cross is suspended reading ԂUBA' ÔPORTORICO' ÔU.S.A', & ÔPHILIPPINE ISLANDS' ÔSPANISH WAR VETERANS 1898-1902'. Reverse is numbered Ô14097' and the reverse of the cross shows a ring of corps badges and reads ÔUNITED'.
