This is a beautiful and minty circa 1970 patrolman badge from New Orleans, Louisiana. The badge is numbered 2168 on the cut-out star at center. Instead of the more typical "circle star" design, this impressive badge has a head-turning "crescent" star design.

Plated brass.

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
