1970's Louisiana State Police Special Agent Get Out of Jail Free Badge

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1970s Louisiana State Police special agent badge. The badge is shaped like Louisiana, reads SPECIAL AGENT LOUISIANA STATE POLICE and shows the State of Louisiana seal. On back are the initial of the then-Director of the LA State Police, TDB, Thomas D. Burbank, who gave these badges out to political associates. This is one of the later issues of this badge.

Circa 1970's.

SIZE:

1-9/16" height x 1-11/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass with blue painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
