This is a beautiful circa 1900 radiator type badge for the Swampscott, Massachusetts Police Department. The badge is minty, and is by S. M. Spencer of Boston.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:S. M. SPENCER MFG. CO. 9 CORNHILL BOSTON.
