Circa 1900 Groveland, Massachusetts Police Badge in Radiator Style

This is a beautiful circa 1900 Groveland, Massachusetts Police badge. The badge is in the radiator style. The word "GROVELAND" is in plain script and the word "POLICE" is a bit more ornate. There is a nice braided design running along the perimeter of the badge.

Circa 1900.

Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

Nickel on brass.

Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch (old repair to catch).

6+ (Fine-Very Fine-): The badge has some areas of moderate wear to heavy wear on the high points, primarily across the banner portion; there was an old repair to the forked catch.
