Description
Beautiful early 1930's 935 sterling silver United States Marine Corps belt buckle. This Chinese made belt buckle features an ornately embellished eagle, globe, and anchor atop a textured buckle, above the EGA, an engraved letter "R" stands out inside a polished rectangle. The reverse of the buckle shows the silver markings and the maker's initials: "T. L.". This example was from a grouping of 4th Marines Embassy Guard.
