Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a great salty early 1930s United States Marine Corps "China Marine" ring. The term "China Marine" initially referred to those soldiers responsible for protecting American lives and property in China during that country's revolution and the Second Sino-Japanese War. The ring is in sterling silver and the oval front shows a small EGA (eagle, globe and anchor) in relief. The sides have nice engraved details.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximate size 10; approximately 11/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.
