Description
This is a beautiful antique carved meerschaum boar's head pipe from the 1890s. The pipe has an amber mouthpiece and comes in its original case from Italian maker Luigi Tisiotti. The boar is as shaggy and ferocious as in real life.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-15/16" in length and 1" in width and 2-1/4" in height (case is only slightly larger and conforms to shape of pipe).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Meerschaum, amber, ceramic; leather-wrapped cardboard, velvet
ATTACHMENT:Hinged case with locking catch.
MARKINGS:CE; LUIGI TISIOTTI ROMA (on case and in case).

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pipe is in gorgeous unused condition; case shows spots of age and wear but is fully functional.
