Description
This is a wonderful Victorian era meerschaum pipe in its original velvet-lined case. The bowl of the pipe is carved into the likeness of man's best friend, in this case either a bulldog, pug or a Boston Terrier. He has glass eyes and a great detailed face and fur. The mouthpiece on the pipe is in amber.
VINTAGE:Circa Victorian era (1837-1901).
SIZE:Pipe: approximately 2-3/8" in height, 1" in width and 4-3/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Meerschaum, wood, glass, amber; velvet lined case.
ATTACHMENT:Hinged case with locking catch.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The pipe is in wonderful condition with some minor wear: case is quite weathered but is still functional.
