This is a beautiful hand made patch for the United States Navy 10th Carrier Air Group (CVG-10). circa 1955-56, during the Suez Crisis. The patch shows symbols for squadrons VA-103, VA-104, VF-11 and VF-62.
VINTAGE:Circa 1955-56.
SIZE:5-3/8" height and 4-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Multi-piece felt and woven wool patch embroidered in multi-colored silk threads with polished cotton backing (sealed with sizing).
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn on to flight clothing.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Patch shows several small moth holes in felt but has very light wear.
