ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa 1916 Prussian Iron Cross 1st Class in screwback. This insignia has a patented affixation (DRGM). This was most likely made by the badge-maker Maybauer. On the badge is a crown up top, below that is the letter "W," and "1914" lies at the bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa 1916

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" x 1/4" height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Iron

ATTACHMENT: Screwback pin

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Light wear. Screwback works well, tarnish adds to the look.
