Beautiful Ca. 1900 White Plains & Larchmont, New York Combined Police Dept. Badge by Dieges

This is a circa 1900 badge for the combined Police Department of White Plains, New York and Larchmont, New York. Early on the two communities shared one police department. The badge is by Dieges & Clust, and shows the Seal of the State of New York at its center.

Circa 1900.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

Gilt brass, enameled lettering.

Vertical pin with forked locking catch.

D&C (Dieges & Clust) maker mark, PLATED.
