Description
This is a beautiful circa 1900 neck badge by Dieges & Clust for the New York City Police Lieutenant's Benevolent Association. The badge is inscribed on reverse to the Director 4th Dist. and hangs from a partial striped silk ribbon.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 3-13/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width; ribbon is about 6" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze, enamel, silk.
ATTACHMENT:Partial ribbon, two clips, suspension ring.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows only light wear with all enamel intact, and has a handsome tarnish. The ribbon has been cut.
