ARTIFACT: Beautiful, large, heavy 1980's Dona Ana County, New Mexico Deputy Sheriff badge. Duty worn. The badge is gilt brass, made by April Manufacturing and reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF DONA ANA COUNTY" in blue enamel and the center features a red and yellow enameled disc reading: "NEW MEXICO".

VINTAGE: Circa 1980's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 3"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "APRIL MFG."

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine&emdash;Excellent): Badge shows minor surface wear, nearly all the enamel and gilt details remain intact.
