This is Beautiful 1930’s Quiet Birdmen pioneering Aviators Association Member Lapel Wing in Enameled Sterling Silver.

Quiet Birdmen (officially ye Anciente and Secret Order of Quiet Birdmen) is a private, secretive fraternal organization for male aviators founded in New York City in 1921 by World War I veteran pilots.

VINTAGE:

1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/16" in height and 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver, enameled details.

ATTACHMENT:

Single Screw post with disk backing.

MARKINGS:

STERLING S in Diamond Shape Mark. (Unknown maker mark)
