Description
This is an autographed and dedicated photograph of Brigadier General Evan M. Johnson from New York, Commanding Officer of the United States Army 154th Infantry Brigade and later the 77th Infantry Division. Johnson penned a message on the matting to his "boyhood friend", William V. Hester. The reverse of the frame still bears the tag of the shop where the lovely and ornate period frame was acquired.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917.
SIZE:Approximately 14-7/8" in height by 11-3/4" in width.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The photo has been well preserved. There are some small spots of light wear to the frame and minor cracking, and some spots of paper missing form the back.
