This is a United States Air Force 43rd Division Aviation (in the 1930s) and 118th Observation Squadron (in the 1940s) distinctive insignia (DI) pin. The pin is round with a yellow background and white and black border and shows the Connecticut Colonial secretary hurrying on foot carrying the colonial charter.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:1" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Pin with single screw disc backing.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Pin shows almost no wear and only a bit of tarnish on reverse.
