25th Anniversary Medal for Massachusetts Sons of Veterans of USA (SV)

This is a 25th anniversary medal for the Massachusetts Division of the Sons of Veterans of the United States of America. The SV was formed in 1881 by the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) in order for the sons of veterans to be able to carry on their legacy, and the name was later amended to include "Union". The badge has a medal bar at top and a white ribbon from which a medallion hangs.

3-1/2" height and 1-13/16" width.

Nickel-plated brass with silk ribbon.

Safety pin.
