This is a first pattern shoulder patch for the United States 2nd Marine Division. The patch shows a coiled serpent labeled GUADALCANAL set against five stars.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 3-7/16" height and 2-13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
