1990s Gold-Filled Silver Cartier "Tank" Wristwatch

This is a gold-filled silver "tank" watch from the 1990s by the world-renowned Cartier. "Tank" refers to the rectangular shape of the watch, which resembles a tank from the air. Cartier started the original "Tank" watch line in 1917, although plenty of other manufacturers have copied the style.

Circa 1990s.

Approximately 1" in width and 9" in length total and 1/4" in thickness.

Gold-filled 925 silver, glass, leather (or faux lizard), sapphire chip on end of crown (winding dial).

Wrist band with buckle, sliding loop.

MUST DE CARTIER SWISS on face of watch; CARTIER PARIS 925 ARGENT PLAQUE OR G 20 M SWISS 6 175 050 with maker marks on reverse of watch.
