This is a circa 1980's first officer wing last issue for Western Airlines, which began in 1926 as Western Air Express and later merged with Transcontinental to become TWA in 1930. At this time, a portion of the company called Western Air Transport broke away, eventually becoming General Airlines and later WAL (then simply Western Airlines). The wing shows the company's "Flying W" at center.
