At this time, a portion of the company called Western Air Transport broke away, eventually becoming General Airlines and later WAL (then simply Western Airlines). The wing shows the company's "Flying W" at center.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 7/16" in height and 2-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, brass backings.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX12 LBBEX7/12 SLBJAX03/21

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear.
