ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1980 pilot hat badge 1st issue for Alpha Air, a Los Angeles-based airline that began operation in 1976.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, painted areas.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows little wear.
