ARTIFACT: This is a 1978 Zippo lighter for the United States Navy's USS Ogden LPD-5. The Ogden was an amphibious transport dock launched at the New York Naval Shipyard on June 27, 1964 and decommissioned February 21, 2007.

VINTAGE: Circa 1978.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/2" width and _" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, painted details, nickel insert.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge.

MARKINGS: BRADFORD PA. "ZIPPO" ¨ on bottom; writing on insert.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The lighter shows some light wear only.
