Description
This is a circa 1970s patch for the United States Air Force 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, also known as the "Tanzlanglian Devils". During the Korean War, the 48th was transferred to Langley AFB, which gives its primary syllable to the squadron's nickname. The squadron flew F-106s starting in the early 1960s. This patch shows one of the ferocious Devils with a pitchfork in hand.
