This is a 1960s United States Air Force 5th Fighter Interceptor Squadron patch with a blue border. The patch shows the head of a fierce lynx at its center and bears the motto ISTI NON PENETRABUNT: They shall not penetrate.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/8" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
