Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1970s or 1980s United States Navy Phoenix Missile jacket patch. The Phoenix missile was used on F-14 Tomcats. The patch is embroidered upon blue twill and shows a phoenix rising out of the ashes and fire above a missile.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1970s-1980s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/2" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
