This is a 1969 Penguin Mate lighter presented by the Tan Son Nhut Officers Open Mess to A.G. Jewell. The front of the lighter shows a map of Vietnam and the reverse has the recipient's name and the date engraved on it.
VINTAGE:Circa 1969.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/4" width and 7/16" thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:PENGUIN MATE JAPAN on bottom; A.G. JEWELL AUGUST 1969 on reverse.
