ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful badge from the 10th Winter Olympic Games, held in Grenoble, France in 1968. The badge is enameled in vibrant blue, white and red, with a snowflake at the center surrounded by three flowers and reads: 'Xes JEUX OLYMPIQUES D'HIVER GRENOBLE 1968'.

VINTAGE: Circa 1968.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Double safety-style pins with saddles.

MARKINGS: ARTHUS BERTRAND, PARIS and other maker information, marks on saddles.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some light wear and tarnish only; all enamel is intact with one very tiny spot of discoloration.
