This is a sterling silver wing for Air West. Air West began in 1968 when three airlines joined together and then was taken over and renamed a mere two years later by Howard Hughes.
VINTAGE:Circa 1968-1970.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height and 3-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, brass backings.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:STERLING and B maker's mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Wing shows small spots of light wear and tarnish.
