Description
This is a circa early to mid-1960s United States Air Force Republic F-105 Thunderchief aircraft jacket patch worn by the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing. The United States Air Force used the supersonic fighter-bomber beginning in 195Based at Spangdahlem AB, Germany, the 49th began flying the Thunderchief in 196The yellow cotton patch shows the silhouette of the Thunderchief in black.
VINTAGE:Circa early to mid-1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 2-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
