1960s USAF Republic F-105 Thunderchief Jacket Patch German-Made Worn by 49th TFW

This is a circa early to mid-1960s United States Air Force Republic F-105 Thunderchief aircraft jacket patch worn by the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing. The United States Air Force used the supersonic fighter-bomber beginning in 195Based at Spangdahlem AB, Germany, the 49th began flying the Thunderchief in 196The yellow cotton patch shows the silhouette of the Thunderchief in black.

Circa early to mid-1960s.

Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 2-9/16" in width.

Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
