Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Combat Surveillance and Electronic Warfare School. The DI is a crest with two crossed swords and an arrowhead and reads VIGILAS AGERE (vigilance for security).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker's mark, 22M.
