This is a 1960s United States Army 553rd Support Battalion DI. The DI resembles a leopard's eye (the 553rd was nicknamed "The Leopards") and reads ASK-WE DO.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:SUSCO S-21.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX4/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some light wear and tarnish.
