ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 193rd Military Police Battalion. The DI reads LOYALTY PATIENCE INTEGRITY and shows three snow-capped mountains and a sunrise.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, Meyer maker's mark, 22M.
