This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 437th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows a sword set against two waterfront mountains and reads PROTECTORS OF JUSTICE.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, Meyer maker's mark, 22M.
