This is a circa 1960s Penguin lighter for the United States Air Force Western Test Range at Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The front of the lighter has a blue and white enameled emblem and the reverse a small engraved map of the Atoll area.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/8" height and 1-1/4" width and 7/16" thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:HIGH QUALITY LIGHTER PENGUIN NO. 19531 JAPAN.
