ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s steward wing for Thai Airways International, which began operation in 1960. The wing is on wool with a detailed, scrolling design at center as a backdrop to the word THAI.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

About 15/16" in height and 3-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool, gold-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal Y (British kick) pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:
